The North Dakota Department of Commerce Tourism and Marketing Division is collaborating with The Good Kids, a design studio based in Bismarck, to develop a new icon representing the state. This project aims to raise awareness of North Dakota beyond its borders while also promoting pride among residents. The new icon will not replace the existing "Be Legendary" brand but will serve as a complementary graphic for use on merchandise like t-shirts, stickers, and flags.

Two design options have been created and are now available for public input. Residents are encouraged to participate in choosing the icon that best represents North Dakota.

For those interested in taking part in the selection process, further information can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StateIconPress.
