Bismarck City Offices and the landfill will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As a result, there will be no garbage or curbside recycling collection for the gold route on that day.
The city has announced that garbage and recycling services from Monday through Thursday will experience a one-day delay throughout the week. For instance, collections scheduled for Monday will occur on Tuesday, those for Tuesday will happen on Wednesday, and so forth. Residents are reminded to have their garbage and recycling ready by 6:00 a.m. on their designated collection day.
The landfill will also observe adjusted hours due to the holiday closure. It will remain closed on January 20 but will operate from Tuesday through Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
