Oliver County Commission sets agenda for October 7th meeting

The Oliver County Commission has scheduled its next meeting for October 7, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The agenda includes routine proceedings such as the call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance, and approval of both the agenda and minutes.

Financial matters will be addressed with bill approvals set for 9:10 a.m. The Sheriff’s Department is scheduled to provide updates at 9:15 a.m., followed by Road Superintendent Kenny Rude discussing truck issues and highway utility permits from WRT and Roughrider.

At 10:15 a.m., Planning & Zoning updates will be presented, including discussion on Ordinance Amendment 2025-3 and enforcement measures. Final budget approval is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Other business items include unclaimed property approval by Laura Huber, information on court facilities grants, an appointment to the Weed Board with one applicant under consideration, and an update from NDACO which will cover details about an upcoming NDDOT meeting. Mickie McNulty-Eide will lead a discussion regarding NDRIN. Additional topics include review of plumbing quotes, foreclosure updates, appointment of a state fair delegate, and city sidewalk repairs.

The meeting covers several administrative issues relevant to county operations but does not indicate any significant policy changes or emergency actions.
