The City of Bismarck's Public Works building will see a temporary change in its public entrance on January 16 and 17. Typically, visitors enter through the southwest corner at 601 South 26th Street. However, during these two days, they are advised to use the northwest door, which was previously utilized during recent renovations.

Public Works is home to several divisions that provide various services across Bismarck. These include Service Operations such as City Building Maintenance, Fleet Services, Forestry, Solid Waste, Street Department, and Street Light and Traffic Signal Maintenance. Additionally, Utility Operations encompass Utility Billing, Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Industrial Pretreatment Program, Wastewater Treatment, Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Program.

For more details about these departments or to speak with Public Works staff members directly, individuals can visit the city's website or call 701-355-1700 to select the appropriate department from the automated menu.
