The City of Bismarck has extended its call for community photos for the year 2024. This initiative invites residents to capture and submit images that reflect the beauty and character of Bismarck.

Photos must be taken within the city limits during 2024 and submitted through an online form. Communications Strategist Kalen Ost stated, "This initiative allows residents to contribute to the City’s visual storytelling. We encourage everyone to share their favorite moments and images of Bismarck from the past year."

Selected photographs may feature in both print and online publications by the City of Bismarck, as well as in marketing materials, with a winning photo being highlighted among submissions.

The guidelines for submission specify that photos must have been taken in 2024 within Bismarck. By submitting, participants agree that their photos may be used without payment or other consideration indefinitely. Submitters must also certify they have obtained necessary permissions from individuals depicted in their photos, with parental consent required for minors.

Participants need to be of legal age, and by submitting, they agree to indemnify the City against any claims related to their photos. Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM on Friday, February 28. For more information or inquiries, Kalen Ost can be contacted at 701-355-1300 or via email.
