Memorial Highway in Mandan will be reduced to two lanes at 46th Avenue Southeast starting the evening of Tuesday, August 19. The lane reduction is necessary for crews to install new sanitary sewer and water main connections as part of the ongoing Memorial Highway reconstruction project. The work is expected to take about three weeks, depending on weather and field conditions.

Drivers are advised to expect additional delays at this intersection and are reminded to use caution and follow posted traffic control signs while traveling through the construction zone.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation expressed appreciation for the public’s patience during these improvements. "The NDDOT appreciates the public’s patience as improvements continue on Memorial Highway."

Project updates and further information can be found at www.dot.nd.gov/memorialhwy.
