The City of Mandan has introduced a new online dashboard designed to help residents and property owners access information about special assessment balances. The tool, called the Special Assessment Inquiry dashboard, enables users to search for their property’s current special assessment balance by entering either a parcel number or an address.
According to city officials, the initiative involved collaboration among several departments and aims to make it easier for individuals to view up-to-date special assessments on properties as well as make online payments. The dashboard can be accessed at cityofmandan.com/specials.
The system is updated monthly, with changes reflected after the first of each month. As stated in the announcement: “It’s important to note that this dashboard is updated on the first of each month. Once a payment is made, the sum of the current due may not reflect that payment until after the first of the following month.”
If a search returns no results for a particular parcel or address, it means there are currently no special assessments on that property.
For inquiries regarding existing special assessments, residents are directed to contact the Finance Department at 701-667-3271 or via email at specials@cityofmandan.com. Questions about pending assessments should be directed to the Engineering Department at 701-667-3225.
