Sidewalks in downtown Bismarck are undergoing a transformation with the introduction of colorful, interactive art installations. This initiative, named the "Movement Maze" project, is designed to encourage physical activity and foster community connections while enhancing public spaces.

The project integrates public art with health promotion through walkable designs aimed at inspiring play and conversation. These installations are strategically placed in key locations, inviting residents to explore and engage as they appear.

Three sites have been selected for the initial phase:

- The sidewalk near Brick Oven Bakery, extending from Fourth Street to Broadway Avenue, has already been completed and is attracting attention from pedestrians.

- A second maze will be located on the north side of the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Library on Avenue B, adjacent to the existing labyrinth.

- A third installation is planned for the corner of Fifth Street and Broadway Avenue.
