Ashley Hinson focused on Iowa's role in biofuel production, stating, "Biofuels are key to Iowa’s economy and key to American energy dominance." She pledged continued support for expanding access to Iowa's biofuels and increasing domestic energy production.
Mark Pocan pointed out the benefits for Wisconsin corn growers, noting that "Corn growers in Wisconsin deserve to have an even playing field in the market dominated by the oil and gas industry." He emphasized biofuels' role in emissions reduction goals and rural job investment.
Nikki Budzinski highlighted her dedication to supporting Central and Southern Illinois farmers through strengthening the biofuels industry. She stated, "Few issues are more critical to their success than strengthening the biofuels industry."
The caucus aims to advocate for policies that reflect American biofuel producers' capacity to meet liquid fuel demand while fostering rural economies. Additional members include representatives from various states committed to supporting this initiative.
