Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak from North Dakota has expressed her approval of President Trump's recent trade agreement with the United Kingdom. She emphasized that the deal would benefit farmers, ranchers, and energy producers in her state by providing expanded markets and fairer terms.

“This is great news for North Dakota and exactly what our producers need—expanded markets, fair terms, and real results,” said Fedorchak. “North Dakota grows and raises some of the best products in the world, and now we have greater access to one of the world’s largest markets."

The trade agreement promises over $5 billion in new export opportunities for American producers. This includes more than $700 million earmarked for ethanol exports and an additional $250 million for agricultural products like beef. It also aims to remove non-tariff barriers that have previously limited U.S. goods' access to UK markets.

President Trump remarked on the benefits of the agreement: “The deal includes billions of dollars of increased market access for American exports, especially in agriculture, dramatically increasing access for American beef, ethanol, and virtually all of the products produced by our great farmers.” He added that it would streamline customs procedures, enhance competitiveness for U.S. companies, and bolster supply chains across several sectors.

Fedorchak concluded by stating her commitment to advocating for a robust Farm Bill that builds on this development: “This is the kind of leadership that puts America’s producers first."
