Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced the approval of Agriculture Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund awards for three projects, totaling $832,430. The awards were approved during the ADD quarterly meeting held on February 26 in Bismarck.
The ADD Fund is managed by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture. It aims to support new or expanding value-added agriculture businesses that demonstrate financial feasibility, enhance industry profitability, create jobs, and contribute to North Dakota's economic growth. Eligible projects include agriculture product manufacturing, animal production facilities, commodity processing facilities, and food production and processing facilities. Feed or pet food processing facilities may also qualify.
The following projects received funding:
KT Cattle Feeders was awarded $250,000 to finish and market cattle year-round. For more information, contact Kevin Throener at 701-680-1632.

The next grant application hearing will be held on May 28-29, 2025, in Minot. Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2025.
