Load restrictions have been implemented on all asphalt roads in McLean County. These restrictions, effective from March 4, 2025, at 7:00 AM, limit loads to six tons per axle and a total weight not exceeding 65,000 pounds. The only exceptions are CR#18 leading to the Great River Energy Plant and McLean County Highway #16 extending seven miles south of Riverdale to the Fischer Industries Sand and Gravel Plant.

These measures will remain in place until the Board of McLean County Commissioners decides to lift them.
