Mandan Public School District has announced that the 2025 MPS Foundation for Education Scholarship Application is now open for Mandan High School seniors. The announcement was made in a Facebook post on January 30, 2025.
To apply for the scholarship, students must log into Google using their msd1.org school email address and submit two letters of recommendation in digital format (PDF). Applicants should also review the list of scholarships and criteria to determine their eligibility. The application deadline is March 24, 2025.
The Mandan Public Schools Foundation for Education is a nonprofit organization formed in 2010 to support education and provide resources to the students and staff of Mandan Public School District. According to the foundation, it is governed by a board of directors that includes Mandan alumni, educators, and local business leaders. It manages donations into an endowment fund from alumni, businesses, service clubs, families, and current and former district employees. Donations to the foundation are deductible as per IRS regulations.

Mandan High School is located at 2335 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND. It is led by Principal Mark Andresen with Assistant Principals Aaron Koenig and Alyssa Caya, along with Activities Director Mark Weist. The school admits students who have completed eighth grade and received recommendations from their previous school. Transfer students must provide a satisfactory transcript and a North Dakota Department of Health Certificate of Immunization.
According to Mandan Public School District, the Mandan School Board consists of nine members serving as the policy-making body for the district with authority only during formally called meetings. The Board sets policies, approves budgets, establishes goals, manages property, and links the district with the public.
