A session titled Powwow 101 will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Starion Lower Living Room of the Lumen Vitae University Center, providing insights into the traditions and cultural significance of the Powwow.

The day will conclude with the Black Elk Mass at Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel at 8 p.m., honoring Nicholas Black Elk, known for his faith and service as a catechist within the Oglala Lakota community.

On January 20, Life and Dignity Week will observe Martin Luther King Day with a talk by Derrick Dixon during the Monday Morning Mission in the Starion Living Room of LVUC at 10 a.m.
