The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is inviting public input on a proposed amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The amendment would add a new project for 2025, which involves the Statewide Coordinated Public Transit Human Service Plan and Intercity Bus Plan. The total cost for this project is $236,769.

Members of the public can review the current STIP by visiting the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov, navigating to “Construction & Planning,” then selecting “Transportation Plans & Programs,” and finally clicking on the “Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) 2025-28” link.

Comments regarding the amendment should be submitted by October 1, 2025. They can be mailed to Michael Wilz at NDDOT, 608 E Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or emailed to mwilz@nd.gov with “2025 State Federal-Aid Projects” in the subject line.

The department states: "The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting."
