The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) has announced plans for ground adulticide treatments in Grenora, Ray, and Williston Block 13 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The operation will use DeltaGard to target adult mosquitoes in these areas. Residents are asked to keep a distance of at least 300 feet from the Vector Control trucks during fogging activities.

An aerial treatment is scheduled for all other blocks in Williston on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. This effort will utilize Imperium for mosquito control. Both DeltaGard and Imperium contain Deltamethrin as their active ingredient and are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in residential neighborhoods.

All treatments are planned to take place after sunset if weather conditions allow.

The WCVCD encourages residents to take precautions against mosquito bites when outdoors between dusk and dawn.
