Cass County Vector Control has announced plans to conduct truck mounted spraying in Fargo and West Fargo on Tuesday, August 12, starting after 7:45 p.m., depending on weather conditions. The spraying is being scheduled due to an increase in mosquito nuisance levels.
The spray will use ULV (Ultra Low Volume) applications with permethrin or etofenprox as the active ingredients. According to Cass County Vector Control, these insecticides are approved for use in residential areas and are considered non-toxic to humans and pets.
Residents seeking more information about the products used can visit the county’s vector control website at https://www.casscountynd.gov/vector. For details on other planned mosquito control applications, schedules are available at https://www.casscountynd.gov/mosquitosprayingschedule.
