Williams County schedules mosquito control treatments for Ray, Grenora, and Trenton

The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) plans to conduct ground adulticide treatments in the communities of Ray, Grenora, and Trenton after sunset on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The schedule is dependent on weather and conditions; if necessary, treatments will be postponed to Wednesday, August 6.

Ray and Grenora will receive applications of Zenivex, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox. Trenton will be treated with DeltaGard, containing Deltamethrin as its active ingredient. Both products are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency for use in residential mosquito control.

Residents are advised to keep a distance of at least 300 feet from Vector Control trucks during fogging operations. The WCVCD also encourages residents to take precautions against mosquito bites when outdoors between dusk and dawn.
