Cass County Vector Control has planned truck-mounted spraying in specific cities on Thursday, July 24th. The operation is set to begin after 8:30 pm, weather permitting. The targeted areas include the City of Leonard, City of Kindred, and City of Oxbow.
The ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray will use permethrin or etofenprox as active ingredients. These insecticides are approved for residential areas and are considered non-toxic to humans and pets.
