North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission plans two-day meeting in Medora

The North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting at the Medora Community Center in Medora, ND. The meeting will commence on Wednesday, July 23, at 2:30 p.m. MDT and continue on Thursday, July 24, starting at 8:30 a.m. MDT.

The agenda for Wednesday includes a business meeting covering minutes, financials, guidelines and application review, eligibility questions, and other business matters. Several projects will be presented for consideration:

- Nome Schoolhouse Inn and Event Center from Nome, ND by Christi Armbrust will present a nature-based agri-tourism project with a total cost of $196,375 and a request for $157,100.

- Yellowstone River Beef from Williston, ND by Calli Thorne will discuss marketing and utilization with a total project cost of $103,300 and a request for $82,475.

- Key-Lix of ND from Dickinson by Jed Archibald aims to address marketing and utilization with a total project budget of $205,830 requesting $155,000.

- Agrodity ND Corp from Bismarck by Solomon Gagunashvili focuses on marketing and utilization with a total project amounting to $160,000 requesting $120,000.

Thursday's session begins with presentations from:

- Gevo Inc. in Richardton by Chris Ryan focusing on marketing and utilization with an overall budget of $443,500 seeking $250,000.

- North Dakota State University represented by Xinhua Ji presenting marketing and utilization projects totaling $102,388 with requests amounting to $81,910.

- ElectroGrow Inc. represented by Calvin Liu working on prototype technology totaling $1,053,020 requesting funds of $680,780.

Additional presentations include Premier Technologies LLC from Fargo led by Kelly Shipman; Greenfield Robotics Corporation represented by Nandan Kalle; Lilac Agriculture LLC presented by Wyatt Warkenthien; as well as several research projects conducted under North Dakota State University representatives Xinhua Ji and Wenhao Dai along with the University of North Dakota’s Mariia Goriacheva.

Following these sessions is time allocated for funding decisions before adjournment at 2:30 PM on Thursday.
