The Agriculture Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, July 23, at the Medora Community Center in Medora, North Dakota. The meeting will commence at 8:30 a.m.
The agenda includes several key items such as reviewing minutes, financials, guidelines and applications, eligibility questions, and other business matters. Specific projects seeking funding will also be discussed.
Among the projects are Holle Farms from Mandan requesting $500,000 for a $6 million project and Dakota SAO, LLP from Cando seeking $500,000 for a $1.5 million project. Other projects include KBK Farms from Anamoose requesting $200,000 for a $635,000 project and Anchor Ingredients Co., LLC from Hatton asking for $99,300 towards a total of $198,600.
Additional presentations will come from Northland Sires Inc/NSI Properties LLC in Kathryn with a request of $500,000 for their $2.4 million project and Wanzek Dairy Inc. in Cleveland seeking $100,000 for their initiative costing approximately $354,000.
Richter Farms LLP in Menoken is looking to secure nearly $188,000 out of their total projected cost of around $469,234 while JR Composting LLC in Bathgate seeks half a million dollars toward their project totaling over one million dollars.
A working lunch is planned before the committee makes its funding decisions at 1:00 p.m., with adjournment expected by 2:00 p.m.
