Due to expanding staffing needs, the McLean County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applicants for the position of Patrol Deputy Sheriff. The office encourages those committed to public service, professional integrity, and community safety to apply.

Key responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas to maintain public safety and enforce laws, responding to emergency calls and incidents, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, preparing reports, making arrests, transporting suspects or inmates, and engaging in community policing.

The position offers competitive pay and benefits with opportunities for advancement and specialized training. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Preference will be given to P.O.S.T certified applicants or those eligible for certification. The starting base salary range is $48,758.59 - $57,752.76 per year.
