The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) is set to carry out ground and aerial adulticide treatments in the county from July 10 to July 12, 2025, depending on weather conditions.

Ground adulticide applications using DeltaGard are scheduled for the evening of Thursday, July 10, in Trenton and Ray. An aerial adulticide application using Imperium is planned for Friday evening, July 11, over Trenton. If weather conditions do not permit, the mission will be rescheduled for Saturday evening, July 12.

All treatments depend on favorable weather to ensure their effectiveness. Both DeltaGard and Imperium contain Deltamethrin as their active ingredient and are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for residential use.

Residents are advised to maintain a distance of at least 300 feet from Vector Control trucks during fogging operations.
