North Dakota Tourism has announced a new partnership with the country music duo Tigirlily Gold. This collaboration brings together storytelling, music, and North Dakota's spirit. The Hazen-born sisters have written and recorded a new anthem inspired by their appreciation for North Dakota's beauty, people, and tranquility. The song is set to debut on Thursday with a live performance at ND Country Fest on July 10, with an official release planned later this year.
Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh, the voices behind Tigirlily Gold, have expressed their love for their home state through this partnership. They will contribute to North Dakota’s “Hello” campaign by sharing their connection to the state on a national platform.
“It’s so fun to work with people who are true ambassadors for North Dakota,” said Sara Otte Coleman, North Dakota Department of Commerce Tourism & Marketing Director. “I’ve watched these women grow up and seeing them use their platform to celebrate and support our state has been really inspiring.”
The partnership includes appearances at promotional events such as the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Phoenix held in February. It also involves social media and branded content, a photo shoot in North Dakota, as well as music and assets for promotional efforts. The duo will share stories about growing up in North Dakota and highlight attractions during interviews.
“We’ve always dreamed of working with North Dakota Tourism,” said the duo. “This collaboration is truly full circle, and we’re honored to share what makes our home state so special.”
The song was written this spring, and officials from North Dakota Tourism hope it becomes a celebrated soundtrack that raises awareness of the state.
