The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) has announced plans for mosquito control applications through both aerial and ground methods across the county. The operations are scheduled to take place during the week of July 1, 2025, contingent on favorable weather conditions. In case of adverse weather, the applications will be postponed to a later date.

The target areas for these operations include Trenton and Williston, with particular attention given to Williston’s Spray Block 8. For the aerial treatment, Imperium will be utilized, while DeltaGard will be employed for ground treatments. Both products have received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in residential zones.

Residents are advised to maintain a distance of at least 300 feet from any Vector Control truck during fogging activities.
