Starting Wednesday, July 2, 2025, River Road will be reduced to one lane from Memorial Highway to 300 feet north of the Water Treatment Plant. This reduction is necessary for a contractor to complete the roadway surface and install pavement markings. The lane reduction will be managed by a flagging operation expected to last about two days, depending on weather conditions. Drivers should anticipate delays as no detour will be available. Authorities thank drivers for their patience during this period.
