At a recent meeting on May 27, Morton County was acknowledged by ND Cares for its ongoing support of service members, veterans, and their families. The recognition took place during the Morton County Commission meeting.

ND Cares representatives presented the commission with official road signs that will soon be installed at key entry points to the county. These signs symbolize Morton County's commitment as a military-friendly community. Attending from ND Cares were Executive Director Michelle Panos (not pictured), Shelly Sizer (Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for North Dakota), Nikki Frohlich, and Nathan Rivard, Public Affairs Officer for the North Dakota National Guard.

ND Cares is a coalition in North Dakota focused on creating a network of care and support for military personnel. The presentation highlighted Morton County’s dedication to ensuring that current and former service members feel supported and valued.
