Williams County has implemented a restriction on County Road 17A, effective immediately. The restricted area extends from Highway 1804 going east for two miles to 110th Avenue NW, and CR 17A (110th Ave NW) north for two miles back to Highway 1804. The restriction prohibits any oversize travel, which includes vehicles that are over height, over length, or overweight.
This measure affects all previously approved permits for oversize travel in the designated area, rendering them void. The restriction also applies to the contracted road section south of Highway 1804 on CR 17A.
The county has not provided a timeline for when this restriction might be lifted.
