Motorcycle rider dies in collision with motorhome in Fargo

On May 7, 2025, a fatal crash occurred in Fargo involving a motorcycle and a motorhome. The incident took place at the intersection of Main Avenue and 42nd Street South at 3:57 PM CT. Road conditions were reported as good, and the weather was sunny.

The crash involved a 2008 ZXP Motorcycle driven by a 34-year-old male from West Fargo, ND, who sustained fatal injuries. The other vehicle was a 2013 Freightliner X-Line Motorhome driven by an 86-year-old male from Grand Forks, ND, who was not injured.

According to reports, the motorhome was traveling eastbound and making a left turn into a parking lot on the north side of Main Avenue when the motorcycle collided with its passenger side in an angle-type crash. It is noted that the motorcycle was reportedly traveling at high speed.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash. Agencies involved in responding to the incident include the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Fargo Police Department, Fargo Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance.
