The Oliver County Planning & Zoning Commission has scheduled a special meeting for May 22, 2025, at 7:00 PM CST. The session will take place in person at the County Courthouse Meeting Room.
The governing body anticipates that the agenda will cover several key topics. These include a work session on the Wind Energy Facilities Ordinance and another on the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Ordinance. Additionally, there will be discussions regarding the rescheduling of the June meeting.
Some discussions may occur in an executive session rather than in the public portion of the meeting. If this is a regular meeting, additional topics could be introduced. However, if it remains a special meeting, discussions will focus strictly on the listed topics and any executive sessions.
