Sitting Bull College has announced the availability of information and applications for its 2025 Summer Science Camps. The camps, which are part of the NDSU/UND NATURE University Summer Camp initiative, offer a variety of programs for different age groups.

The camp for graduating seniors and Sitting Bull College undergraduates will take place from June 2nd to June 13th. It is hosted at both the Fargo NDSU campus and Grand Forks UND campus. A stipend of $1,000 is available for participants, with additional travel stipends offered. Applications are currently open, and interested students must be at least 18 years old.

Additionally, there is an opportunity for students to earn an extra $500 by serving as mentors in subsequent camps.

Middle school students can attend the SBC MS Summer Camp from June 16th to June 26th at the SBC Fort Yates campus. This program targets sixth through eighth graders with funding available for 45 students. Participants will receive a $30 stipend and transportation costs may be covered if coordinated with schools or communities. Lunch will be provided during sessions held Monday through Thursday.

High school students have a similar camp scheduled from June 2nd to June 12th at the same location, aimed at ninth through twelfth graders with funding also available for 45 participants. They too will receive a $30 stipend and potential transportation support.

Applications are open now for all programs with deadlines on June 2nd for high school students and June 16th for middle schoolers.
