Beginning the week of May 22, the North Dakota Department of Transportation will implement a traffic shift on Pacific Avenue in Medora. Traffic will be redirected through the two north side lanes of the new roundabout at Chateau Road.

Motorists traveling on Chateau Road will turn onto Pacific Avenue on the east side of the roundabout. Pedestrians will be directed to use the new concrete sidewalk along the north side of the roundabout.

This adjustment facilitates ongoing construction on the south side lanes of the roundabout, part of the Medora Business Loop and City Section project. The initiative is a significant investment in Medora's infrastructure, aimed at accommodating increased visitors with the upcoming opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. The NDDOT has pledged to maintain transparency and keep the public informed as work continues.
