Bismarck library hosts book sale during summer reading kickoff

The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is set to host a one-day used book sale, coinciding with the Summer Reading Program Kickoff Celebration. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in Meeting Room A of the library.

The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library are organizing this sale, offering a variety of gently used children's and teen books, DVDs, and adult selections. Items will be priced at $1.00 per pound for books, with other items individually priced. Proceeds from the sale will support programs and services at the library.

Elizabeth Jacobs, Assistant Library Director at Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library stated that "every purchase helps support the amazing programs and services" provided by the library.

This event is free and open to all ages. The media is also invited to attend.
