Spring load restrictions in the City of Bismarck will end on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. As stated by city officials, these restrictions will no longer apply to most roads and streets within the city's corporate limits starting at 7:00 a.m. on that date.
However, year-round 6-ton load restrictions will continue to be enforced on select streets. "Airway Avenue - Airport Road to Northern Plains Drive" is one of the streets that will maintain these restrictions.
This change comes as the city prepares for the transportation needs of the upcoming season, ensuring that road conditions are suitable for increased loads while still preserving the integrity of the city's infrastructure.
