The North Dakota Department of Commerce announced that its Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program achieved notable results in the 2025 American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) report. This survey was conducted by the federal Office of Community Services (OCS) and distributed to all of the state's Community Action Agencies. The purpose was to assess the state office's performance in various customer service areas. While the national average score is 73, North Dakota scored 93.

The report recognized North Dakota as having the highest score among all states in several categories, including the distribution of funds, the use of discretionary funds, monitoring and corrective action, and linkages.

"I am incredibly proud of the collaborative efforts and dedication of our team and partners," said Community Services Block Grant Administrator Ben Faul. "Achieving such high scores across multiple dimensions is a testament to our commitment to provide exceptional service and support to our community."

The survey was conducted by CFI Group, an independent consulting and market research firm, on behalf of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), a division of OCS. It was administered via email between December 3, 2024, and February 6, 2025. A total of 1,016 surveys were sent, with 546 completed nationally, yielding a response rate of 54%.

The Commerce Department expressed pride in these accomplishments and is committed to continuing its efforts to offer exceptional service to Community Action Partners and North Dakota residents.
