On April 29, 2025, a contractor is set to commence work on the water-main along Front Avenue, stretching from Mandan Street to 2nd Street. Throughout most of the project, traffic lanes will be adjusted to ensure they remain open in both directions.
However, starting on approximately Monday, May 5, and continuing for around one week, weather conditions permitting, Front Avenue will be inaccessible to traffic. During this period, eastbound traffic on Front Avenue will be rerouted south on Mandan Street, then east on Sweet Avenue, and north onto 2nd Street. Meanwhile, westbound traffic will be directed south on 2nd Street, west on Sweet Avenue, and finally north on Mandan Street.
