North Dakota's tourism sector, valued at $5.7 billion, will take the spotlight in Minot from April 28 to 30. The city hosts the 2025 North Dakota Travel Industry Conference, organized by Visit Minot, DMAND, and the North Dakota Department of Commerce. The annual gathering emphasizes tourism education, collaboration, and innovation across the state.

Supporting over 43,000 jobs and more than 3,000 businesses, tourism is a significant industry in North Dakota. The conference serves as a platform for destination marketers, small businesses, attractions, and hospitality professionals to enhance connections, generate new ideas, and build momentum for future growth.

The event will focus on industry priorities including AI in marketing, rural workforce challenges, and accessible travel. Participants will engage in immersive city tours, high-impact networking, and the Governor’s Awards for Travel and Tourism, presented by Gov. Kelly Armstrong, will be held during the luncheon on Wednesday.

Keynote speakers Hunter Pinke, Josiah Brown, Cory Hepola, and Jennifer Stoll will provide insights into mindset, branding, rural storytelling, and the economic power of tourism.

The 2025 North Dakota Travel Industry Conference aims to provide real-world solutions and encourage statewide cooperation. It offers opportunities to learn, share, and shape the future of tourism in the state. Both newcomers and seasoned professionals can expect to gain fresh ideas and form meaningful connections that persist beyond the event.
