The Bismarck Fire Department effectively managed a fire outbreak at a mobile home on the northeastern side of Bismarck, North Dakota, early Friday morning. The incident occurred at a residence located at 2500 Centennial Road.
The fire department was alerted at 6:25 a.m. on March 28, 2025. Fire crews promptly arrived at the scene just four minutes later, at 6:29 a.m., to find heavy smoke emanating from a single-wide trailer home. Firefighters forced entry through the front door and used a charged hose line to extinguish the flames while conducting a primary search of the residence.
The fire was concentrated in the living room and kitchen areas. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters conducted an overhaul to ensure all smoldering materials were put out. Fortunately, no injuries were reported to either the home’s occupants or the firefighters responding to the call.
The mobile home suffered heavy fire damage in the living room and kitchen, with smoke damage spread throughout the rest of the house. A subsequent fire investigation found the source of the fire to be linked to a wood-burning stove. The blaze was deemed accidental.
