The Bismarck Larks have announced their March 2025 Kid of the Month, highlighting eleven-year-old Berklee for her contributions to her school and community. Kayla Rimer, Vice President of Creative Services for the Larks, expressed enthusiasm about recognizing Berklee's efforts: “Berklee is exactly the kind of kid that we love to recognize,” she said. “We’re thrilled to share her story with everyone.”
Berklee is an active member of the Trailblazers Club at Elk Ridge Elementary, a group consisting of fourth and fifth graders dedicated to special projects aimed at assisting their school and local community. Their activities range from helping fellow students with academic work to organizing fundraisers that benefit those in need.
Beyond her school involvement, Berklee volunteers through her church and 4-H club. Her church group engages in making tie-blankets for distribution in Bismarck-Mandan, while her 4-H club recently assembled goodie-bags filled with toys for MSA United Way to distribute among children.
