The North Dakota Transmission Authority (NDTA) has announced a special grant round aimed at enhancing electric grid resilience. The initiative offers a total of $2,843,075 in funding, sourced from both the Department of Energy's IIJA Grid Resilience Formula Grant and North Dakota state legislative appropriations.

To provide further details on the application process, a public meeting is scheduled for April 16th. It will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the State Capitol building's 14th floor conference room, with an option to attend virtually. During this session, staff from the North Dakota Industrial Commission and grant administrative personnel from the Energy and Environmental Research Center will accompany the NDTA Executive Director to discuss application procedures and respond to questions.
