The Burleigh County Board of Commissioners has announced that seasonal load restrictions will begin on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. These restrictions will remain in effect until further notice. The enforcement of these restrictions will be managed by the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
"Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Board of Commissioners have resolved that seasonal load restrictions will go into effect on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 7:00 a.m. and will continue until further notice," states the announcement.
These measures are intended to protect road infrastructure during periods when they are more vulnerable to damage due to thawing conditions.
