The North Dakota Department of Commerce Tourism and Marketing Division has teamed up with The Good Kids, a design studio based in Bismarck, to develop a new icon for the state. This effort is intended to boost awareness of North Dakota beyond its borders while also encouraging pride among its residents. The new icon is designed to complement the state's existing "Be Legendary" brand rather than replace it, providing a flexible graphic that can be used on various merchandise including t-shirts, stickers, and flags.

Two design options have been created and are now open for public input. Residents and interested parties are invited to participate in choosing the icon that best represents North Dakota.

For further details on how to take part in selecting the icon, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StateIconPress.
