American Airlines announces new nonstop service from Bismarck to Chicago

Bismarck Airport has announced that American Airlines will commence daily nonstop flights between Bismarck and Chicago O'Hare International Airport starting June 5, 2025. This new service will provide travelers with access to over 100 connection opportunities, including destinations on the East Coast, Florida, and international locations.

Airport Director Greg Haug expressed enthusiasm about the new service: "We were thrilled to learn about American’s announcement to start service to Chicago O’Hare." He added that American Airlines continues to be a strong partner for the airport and the region.

The flights will be operated using an Embraer 175 aircraft, which seats 76 passengers, including a premium cabin with 12 seats. The schedule is set with departures from Chicago at 10:20 a.m., arriving in Bismarck at 12:40 p.m., and returning from Bismarck at 1:20 p.m., reaching Chicago by 3:27 p.m.

Jordan Pack, American's Director of Domestic Network Planning, commented on the new route: "American is thrilled to bring new nonstop service from Bismarck to our Chicago O’Hare hub." He noted that this addition complements existing services to Dallas/Fort Worth and offers convenient connections to more than 100 cities.
