The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is set to conduct a public hearing on proposed amendments to the 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). This event will occur alongside the regular meeting of the MPO Technical Advisory Committee.

The hearing aims to facilitate public participation in reviewing changes to the TIP, which outlines federally funded transportation projects for the metropolitan area over four years. This month, three new chip seal projects are up for consideration. After gathering public comments, the amendments will be adopted unless significant modifications are necessary due to feedback.

Community members can attend the hearing or submit their comments by January 6, 2025, at 9 am. Comments should be directed to Stephen Larson of the MPO via mail at P.O. Box 5503 Bismarck, ND, 58506, email, or fax at (701) 222-6450. For further details, contact Stephen Larson at (701) 355-1848.

Individuals requiring disability accommodations or language assistance should reach out to the Title VI/ADA Coordinator at (701) 355-1332 or via email. TTY users can connect through Relay North Dakota at 711 or 1-800-366-6888 with a minimum five-day notice before the meeting.
