In Mandan, North Dakota, Morton County's Security and Transport Division successfully raised $1,366 for Heaven’s Helpers in a single day. The initiative was supported by various county offices, including the State Attorney’s Office, Clerk of Court, Auditor’s Office, Recorder’s Office, Emergency Management, Social Services, Human Resources, LEC Dispatch, Veterans Affairs, Tax Equalization, Parks Department, Office Deputies, and several members of the Morton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies Tkach and Wehrung played a key role in the effort by using nearly half of the funds to purchase essential non-perishable goods for those in need. The remaining $707 will be donated directly to Heaven’s Helpers to buy perishable items for local families.

Heaven’s Helpers is known for providing food, clothing, and other resources to individuals and families in need within the community.

This fundraiser highlights the commitment of Morton County employees to supporting local organizations and giving back to their community. The collective effort ensures that many families will receive necessary items and support.
