The Mandan Progress Organization has announced the North Dakota Santa Run, scheduled for December 14, 2024, in downtown Mandan. The event will begin at 4 p.m., and Main Street will be partially closed to accommodate this festive 5K run. Participants are encouraged to dress as Santa Claus to promote holiday spirit while supporting addiction recovery programs.

Access to West Main Street will remain open for those heading to the Morton Mandan Public Library. Detour routes are set up via First Street, spanning from 3rd Ave NW to 6th Ave NW. Truck drivers are advised to consider alternative routes during the event.

This marks the first time the North Dakota Santa Run is held in Mandan, aiming to unite families, runners, and community members for a cause that benefits addiction recovery efforts.
