Mandan Public Works has announced the seasonal closure of grass collection sites, effective Monday, November 25. The decision comes as freezing temperatures make it challenging to manage debris in the bins. Residents are encouraged to dispose of grass and leaves at the City Landfill without charge during business hours.
For updates on when the collection sites will reopen in spring, residents can visit cityofmandan.com/grasscollection.
Additionally, branches under four inches in diameter can still be taken to the 8th Avenue SE & Hwy 1806 South collection site. However, grass will not be accepted at this location throughout winter.
