Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, released a statement in response to Iran's recent missile attack on Israel. Hoeven expressed strong support for Israel, emphasizing the need for accountability from Iran.

"We stand with Israel as they defend themselves against this attack by Iran. Iran is a threat not only to the security of the region, but the security of the United States, and must be held accountable," said Hoeven. He further stressed that "the United States must make it clear that Iran will pay a heavy price for attacking Israel directly and for their support of proxy groups like Hezbollah, Hamas and other terrorist organizations."

Hoeven highlighted the importance of supporting Israel as a key ally in the region.
