HHS awards $4.25 million to North Dakota for health initiatives

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $4.25 million to North Dakota for various health programs and initiatives.

Of the total amount, $4 million will go to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services through the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. This funding aims to enhance the state's response to opioid addiction.

Additionally, Mountain Plains Youth Services, Inc., will receive $250,000. This grant is intended to support its transitional living program for young adults aged 18 to 21.
