North Dakota receives $2 million HHS grant for public health infrastructure

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the award of $2,153,971 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services. The grant aims to strengthen public health infrastructure, workforce, and data systems. It is administered through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services.

Senator Kevin Cramer commented on the award: "This funding will enhance our state's ability to respond effectively to public health challenges."

The grant reflects ongoing efforts to bolster public health capabilities at the state level.
